Radia Data Breach?: Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of reports of a possible Radia data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who believe their information may have been put at risk, including current and former Radia patients and employees.
Reports Emerge of Possible Radia Security Breach
Radia, a Washington-based radiology group that serves over 50 hospitals and clinics in Washington and Idaho, has allegedly suffered a data breach.
A July 16, 2026 post on cybersecurity monitoring platform DeXpose.io states that ransomware group Chaos claims it was behind the supposed attack and had gained access to the internal network housing sensitive data on the radiology group’s website. The post relays that the ransomware group also reported having already posted a sample of the exfiltrated data it claims to have accessed.
At the time this post was made, there was no additional information available about the scope or nature of the unconfirmed Radia data breach.
What You Can Do
If you're affiliated with Radia and suspect your information may have been put at risk, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Radia to ensure they take proper steps to protect the information they were entrusted with.
