Life Bridges Security Incident: What Happened?

Life Bridges, a Tennessee-based organization supporting independent living for individuals with disabilities, has reported a data breach that impacted sensitive information.

According to a notice posted to its website, the company identified unauthorized activity within its systems on June 22, 2026. Following an investigation with cybersecurity and privacy professionals, Life Bridges determined that an unauthorized actor accessed company systems and copied certain data between June 17 and 22.

The Life Bridges data breach involved some demographic and financial information, such as names, addresses, dates of birth, driver's license numbers, Social Security numbers, insurance claims information, financial account information and debit card information. The incident may have also impacted certain health information, including diagnoses, medical conditions, lab results, dates of service, medical record numbers, Medicare numbers, Medicaid numbers and managed care organization numbers.
