Apollo Security Incident: What Happened?
Apollo Global Management, a New York-based financial asset and investment firm, has reported a data breach impacting sensitive personal information.
According to a sample notice letter sent to affected individuals, seen below, Apollo recently experienced a social engineering incident and eventually determined that there was unauthorized access to certain cloud platforms between July 6 and 10, 2026.
Information that may have been impacted by the incident included names, dates of birth, contact information, home addresses and Social Security numbers.
The investigation into the Apollo Global Management data breach remains ongoing, and the company has announced that it may continue to update affected individuals as any additional information is unveiled.
