According to an August 26, 2026 post on dark web security site Ransomware.live, hacker group AiLock was behind the suspected Hamilton attack, which was estimated to have occurred on the same day.
HookPhish, another cybersecurity blog, similarly stated that AiLock claimed to be responsible for an August 26 attack on the chromatography solutions company.
At the time this post was made, no additional information was available about the scope or nature of the unconfirmed Hamilton Company data breach.
