OneDigital Data Breach: Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the OneDigital data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who had their information exposed in the incident, including those who received notice of the OneDigital data breach or otherwise believe they are affected.
OneDigital Security Incident: What Happened?
OneDigital Investment Advisors, which consults employers, businesses, and individuals on insurance, financial services, and HR, has disclosed a data breach affecting 28,414 people. A letter to the Maine Attorney General’s Office states that Salesforce, OneDigital's customer relationship management platform provider, informed it of a potential security event affecting Salesforce and the Salesloft-managed Drift tool on August 22, 2025. The breach did not impact OneDigital's internal networks.
With the help of cybersecurity experts, OneDigital found that between August 12 and August 18, 2025, data within Salesforce may have been accessed and copied due to a compromise of the Drift application. A review found that the information involved in the OneDigital data breach includes client names and Social Security numbers.
OneDigital began sending notifications about the incident to affected individuals around April 8, 2026 (sample notice pictured below).
What You Can Do After the OneDigital Data Breach
If your information was exposed in the OneDigital data breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
