Solventum Data Breach: Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Solventum data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who had their information exposed in the incident, including those who received notice of the Solventum data breach or otherwise believe they are affected.
Solventum Security Incident: What Happened?
Solventum Health Information Systems, a medical technology company that works with hospitals behind the scenes, has disclosed a data breach involving the data of Solventum customers and their clients/patients.
According to a web page set up to notify potentially affected individuals, the Solventum Health Information Systems data breach occurred on March 29, 2026, and the company discovered it the following day, March 30. A subsequent investigation indicated that first and last names, addresses, dates of birth, medical record numbers, medical histories, and diagnoses may have been compromised.
A press release published by NYC Health + Hospitals, one of the Solventum customers whose patients were affected by the breach, states that the unauthorized actor posted the stolen information on the dark web on April 19, 2026.
Because Solventum does not work directly with patients, potentially affected individuals may not be aware that the company has access to their data. Solventum is notifying those whose information has been confirmed to be involved directly or through its hospital partners.
What You Can Do After the Solventum Data Breach
If your information was exposed in the Solventum data breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
