| ~ In Other News ~ A proposed class action accuses Hello Products of failing to warn consumers that Hello Kids Dragon Dazzle toothpaste and Hello Kids Fresh Watermelon Fluoride Free toothpaste contain “alarmingly high” levels of lead and mercury. Testing has revealed levels of heavy metals that greatly exceed the Environmental Protection Agency’s established contaminant limits, according to the suit. A proposed class action has been filed claiming the bags are filled with unlawful amounts of non-functional empty space. The suit contends, specifically, that the snacks are intentionally sold in oversized bags as products in larger packaging are more likely to be purchased.
