ProMach Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the ProMach data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
On September 8, 2023, ProMach, a company that provides packaging and processing solutions for manufacturers, discovered that a third party gained unauthorized access to its information technology environment. After an investigation, it was determined that the attacker had accessed ProMach's personnel and HR-related files, potentially affecting ProMach employees, beneficiaries and dependents.
The personal information compromised may include names, addresses, telephone numbers, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, government identification documentation, and healthcare and health insurance-related data. Additionally, employees' personal files and records stored on their ProMach computers and shared folders may have been compromised as well.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force ProMach to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
