Issaqueena Pediatric Dentistry Security Incident: What Happened?
Issaqueena Pediatric Dentistry, a three-location pediatric dental and orthodontic practice in South Carolina, has reported a data breach involving sensitive information.
According to a notice posted to its website, Issaqueena fell victim to a criminal cyberattack and, following an investigation into the incident, determined on July 1, 2026 that some personal and protected health information may have been subject to unauthorized access. This included names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver's license or state identification numbers, financial account information, medical treatment information and health insurance information.
The dental group has started sending notices to individuals potentially affected by the incident, a sample of which is shown below.
The Issaqueena Pediatric Dentistry data breach was also reported to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation on September 2, 2026.
