Belle Tire Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Belle Tire data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Belle Tire, a retailer in the wheel and automotive service industry, has announced a data breach that may have compromised the personal information of nearly 29,330 individuals. The company reported that unauthorized activity was first detected in its computer systems on June 11, 2024, prompting countermeasures that included engaging a third-party cybersecurity team and alerting law enforcement.
Further investigations revealed that a cybercriminal accessed and potentially copied data including names, addresses and dates of birth, along with Social Security numbers and/or driver's licenses. Information exposed in the Belle Tire data breach varies by individual and those affected should receive letters in the mail about the incident.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Belle Tire to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
