Halfday Tonics Iced Teas – More Sugar Than Advertised? A recently filed lawsuit claims that Halfday Tonics’ prebiotic iced teas are misleadingly advertised given that the beverages allegedly contain more sugar than the amount disclosed on product labels. For instance, the case says that independent testing revealed that the Raspberry Iced Tea contained approximately 9.69 grams of sugar per 355 mL can, over three times the amount represented to consumers. | A proposed class action lawsuit claims that Lowe’s has failed to properly disclose that its Utilitech 7500-Lumens Halogen Plug-In Stand Work Lights can become dangerously hot during ordinary use, posing a risk of serious burns. The suit alleges that the only warnings about the Utilitech work lights are “buried” in the instruction and troubleshooting manual and fail to appropriately convey that the lights and their switches can become hot enough to burn skin on contact.
