The GeoLogics Corporation class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on April 16, 2026. The agreement covers all United States residents whose private information was compromised in the data breach, which started around December 21, 2023, including all who received notice of the incident.
Court documents state that the private information of approximately 11,948 people was impacted by the breach.

GeoLogics settlement class members who submit a timely, valid claim form can receive up to $2,500 for out-of-pocket losses incurred between December 21, 2023 and August 17, 2026 due to the data breach. This benefit covers losses from identity theft or fraud, as well as costs for credit reports, credit monitoring, freezing/unfreezing credit, replacement IDs, postage and more.
Class members must submit proof, such as receipts, to receive this benefit.
Parents or guardians of settlement class members under the age of 18 may submit a claim form to receive reimbursement for documented losses on the minor’s behalf, the settlement agreement states.
In lieu of a documented-loss payment, class members can submit a claim form to receive an alternative cash payment estimated to be $50, with no proof required.
Additionally, all class members can file a claim form to receive two years of credit monitoring and identity theft protection insurance.
To submit a GeoLogics settlement claim form online, class members can head to this page and enter the login ID and PIN found on their copy of the settlement notice. Alternatively, class members can download a PDF claim form to print, fill out and return by mail to the settlement administrator.
All GeoLogics Corporation claim forms must be submitted online or postmarked by August 17, 2026.
The court will determine whether to grant the GeoLogics settlement final approval following a hearing on November 2, 2026. Compensation will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval has been granted and any appeals have been resolved.
The GeoLogics Corporation class action lawsuit claimed that the technical services company, which supports the defense, IT and telecommunications industries, failed to implement reasonable cybersecurity measures to prevent a targeted cyberattack that began on or around December 21, 2023.
Per court documents, sensitive information that may have been compromised in the data breach included full names, addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, photo IDs or driver’s licenses, and Social Security numbers.
