The LCPtracker class action lawsuit alleged that the provider of cloud-based software solutions for payroll and workforce reporting failed to implement reasonable cybersecurity measures to protect the sensitive information in its care, which allegedly led to a data breach sometime between August 14 and August 20, 2024. Per court documents, private information potentially compromised as a result of the breach included names and Social Security numbers.
