Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the LCPtracker data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Around August 20, 2024, LCPtracker detected unusual activity in its online storage account. Following the discovery, the company launched an investigation and hired a third-party cybersecurity firm to determine the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation revealed that unauthorized individuals accessed and obtained certain files and data from LCPtracker between August 14 and August 20, 2024.
According to a report submitted to the Texas Attorney General's Office, information exposed in the LCPtracker data breach included names, Social Security numbers and driver's license numbers. LCPtracker, which offers cloud-based software solutions for payroll and workforce compliance reporting, says it had collected this data as part of its services.
