Proxycare Data Breach: Lawsuit Investigation

As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who had their information exposed in the incident, including those who received notice of the Proxycare data breach or otherwise believe they are affected.
Proxycare Security Incident: What Happened?
Proxycare, a pharmacy service provider for long-term care facilities, has disclosed a data breach that may have exposed sensitive personal and health information. A notice on Proxycare's website states that unauthorized access to its network was first discovered on August 22, 2025. By January 29, 2026, an investigation and document review with third-party cybersecurity experts determined that personal health information may have been accessed by unauthorized parties.
Information submitted to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation indicates that full names and Social Security numbers may have been compromised in the Proxycare data breach. On March 23, 2026, Proxycare commenced notifying affected individuals whose data was involved in the incident (sample notice pictured below).
Proxycare operates from offices in Sunrise, Florida and Birmingham, Alabama and collaborates with long-term care facilities throughout Alabama, Florida, and Georgia.
