Integrated Specialty Coverages Data Breach: Lawsuit Investigation

Integrated Specialty Coverages Security Incident: What Happened?
Integrated Specialty Coverages, LLC (ISC), an insurance program administrator offering insurance products and underwriting services, reported a data breach to several state attorneys general in early July 2025. The company, which receives personal information from employers, insurance companies and brokers as part of the insurance application or claims process, detected suspicious activity within its systems that was determined to be a security incident. An investigation revealed unauthorized access by a third party to a limited part of ISC's environment from February 16 to February 19, 2025. Following the incident, Integrated Specialty Coverages engaged external cybersecurity experts and notified federal law enforcement.
The ISC data breach may have involved personal data, including names, Social Security or tax ID numbers, birth dates, driver’s license or government ID numbers, biometric data, and basic medical details related to insurance applications or claims. According to a report provided to the Texas Attorney General, it's also possible that addresses and financial information were exposed in the Integrated Specialty Coverages data breach.
