AAWC Data Breach: Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the AAWC data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who had their information exposed in the incident, including those who received notice of the AAWC data breach or otherwise believe they are affected.
AAWC Security Incident: What Happened?
All About Women’s Care (AAWC), a healthcare provider with locations in Englewood and Littleton, Colorado, has reported a data breach affecting 12,000 people.
According to an online notice, AAWC discovered suspicious activity involving an employee's VPN account on April 9, 2026. An investigation, aided by cybersecurity professionals, determined that an unauthorized actor entered AAWC’s network, accessed and stole certain files, and attempted to extort AAWC.
Varying from person to person, the information that may have been involved in the All About Women’s Care data breach includes names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver’s license or other ID numbers, clinical or treatment information, lab results, prescription and provider information, health insurance information, medical documents, ultrasound images, and copies of passports or ID documents.
On or about June 5, 2026, AAWC completed the process of identifying and obtaining contact information for potentially affected individuals to provide notification.
What You Can Do After the AAWC Data Breach
If your information was exposed in the AAWC data breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force AAWC to ensure they take proper steps to protect the information they were entrusted with.
