Proliance Surgeons Data Breach? Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of reports of a possible Proliance Surgeons data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who believe their information may have been put at risk, including current and former Proliance Surgeons staff, healthcare providers and patients.
Reports Emerge of Possible Proliance Surgeons Security Breach
Proliance Surgeons, which operates a network of over 100 independent surgical, imaging and other specialty care centers across Washington state, may have suffered a data breach.
According to a September 2, 2026 post on dark web security site Ransomware.live, hacker group Payouts King claimed to be responsible for an attack on Proliance Surgeons that allegedly resulted in the exfiltration of 6.6 terabytes of data. The site estimated that the suspected attack occurred on August 18 of the same year.
DeXpose, another cybersecurity monitoring site, similarly reported that Payouts King claimed to be behind an alleged attack on the healthcare provider.
At the time this post was made, no additional information was available about the scope or nature of the unconfirmed Proliance Surgeons data breach.
Previously, Proliance Surgeons agreed to settle a class action lawsuit over a February 2023 data breach that affected approximately 437,932 patients.
What You Can Do
If you're affiliated with Proliance Surgeons and suspect your information could have been put at risk, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, lost time, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
