Moodswings Settlement Resolves Class Action Lawsuit Over Allegedly Undisclosed Service Charges

A Moodswings settlement offers discount codes or cash to individuals who purchased tickets to Moodswings’ shows in certain states.
Moodswings, LLC has agreed to a settlement to wrap up a class action lawsuit that alleged the production company failed to timely disclose service charges for online ticket purchases to Moodswings’ shows in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, New York and Tennessee.

The Moodswings class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on June 17, 2026. The deal covers all individuals who bought tickets to one of Moodswings’ shows through https://Tickets.Mesmerica.com, https://Tickets.Beautifica.show, https://Tickets.ChangeWorlds.org, or https://Ticketshop.Mesmerica.c... in any of the following states during the relevant time periods:
- -California - July 1, 2024 to June 20, 2025 (the California Settlement Class);
- -Colorado - August 7, 2024 to August 31, 2025 (the Colorado Settlement Class);
- -Connecticut - October 1, 2023 to August 31, 2025 (the Connecticut Settlement Class);
- -Maryland - July 1, 2024 to June 20, 2025 (the Maryland Settlement Class);
- -New York - August 29, 2022 to June 20, 2025 (the New York Settlement Class); and
- -Tennessee - July 1, 2023 to August 26, 2025 (the Tennessee Settlement Class).

Moodswings settlement class members who do nothing can receive a discount code for a 25 percent discount on one future purchase of tickets to one of Moodswings’ shows from the company’s websites. Discount codes can be used in one transaction for up to four tickets or the number of tickets the class member purchased during the relevant period, whichever is greater.
Discount codes are freely transferable and stackable and can be used toward any of Moodswings’ shows in the United States, including Astronomica, Beautifica, Mesmerica, Mesmerica XL, and any future offerings by Moodswings.
Alternatively, class members can file a timely, valid claim form to receive a cash payment for each Moodswings ticket purchased during the relevant time period.
California class members will receive $3.37 per ticket, Colorado class members will receive $2.54 per ticket, Connecticut class members will receive $2.65 per ticket, Maryland class members will receive $3.48 per ticket, New York class members will receive $7.12 per ticket, and Tennessee class members will receive $3.70 per ticket.
To file a Moodswings settlement claim form online, class members can head to this page and enter the class member ID found on their copy of the settlement notice. Alternatively, class members can download a PDF claim form to print, fill out, and return by mail to the settlement administrator.
All Moodswings claim forms must be submitted online or postmarked by September 18, 2026.
The court will determine whether to grant the Moodswings settlement final approval following a hearing on December 17, 2026. Compensation will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval has been granted and any appeals have been resolved.
The Moodswings class action lawsuit alleged that the company, which co-presents the immersive 360-degree dome visual music experience Mesmerica, among other productions, failed to timely disclose service charges added to online ticket purchases for shows in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, New York and Tennessee during certain time periods.
