United Regional Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the United Regional data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
United Regional Health Care System of Wichita Falls, Texas recently reported to the Texas Attorney General that it experienced a data breach affecting 36,905 people.
While not many details are available, the health care network stated that the breach occurred on May 30, 2023 and involved medical information, health insurance details and dates of birth.
The report also indicated that affected individuals would receive a letter notifying them of the breach.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force United Regional to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
