According to a notice posted to the company’s website, the Tieu Dental data breach occurred between July 28 and July 29, 2025. Upon discovery, Tieu Dental enlisted third-party cybersecurity experts to investigate the breach. Their investigation revealed that certain files containing personal and protected health information, such as names, birth dates, Social Security numbers, medical records, treatment plans, prescriptions, and health insurance details, might have been accessed.

Tieu Dental, which specializes in oral and maxillofacial surgery, operates two offices in Campbell and Morgan Hill, California.
