Health Prime Data Breach: Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Health Prime data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who had their information exposed in the incident, including those who received notice of the Health Prime data breach or otherwise believe they are affected.
Health Prime Security Incident: What Happened?
Health Prime International (HPI), a revenue cycle management and analytics company serving healthcare organizations worldwide, has reported a data breach involving sensitive information held by certain clients.
According to a notice posted to its website, the company learned on or around August 3, 2026 that an unknown actor claimed to have accessed and acquired sensitive information related to the patients of certain HPI clients. Specifically, Tebra Technologies, a third-party healthcare software company that HPI uses to grow its clients' digital presence and modernize care, held the patient information.
While the investigation into the scope and nature of the incident is ongoing, the company has thus far determined that information potentially exposed in the Health Prime International data breach, varying by individual, includes names, addresses, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, medical information and health insurance information.
Individuals whose information may have been exposed in the HPI data breach will receive a notice letter by mail once the investigation and review of the affected data are complete.
