Reports Emerge of Possible The Credit Pros Security Breach
The Credit Pros, an online credit analysis and restoration service, is reported to have suffered a data breach estimated to have occurred on June 16, 2026, as reported in a post on dark web scraping site Ransomware.live made the same day. According to the information discovered by Ransomware.live, hacker Icarus has claimed responsibility for breaching a host of sensitive employee, customer, and confidential business data from The Credit Pros’ Salesforce system.
The information that Icarus claims was compromised in the The Credit Pros data breach includes 51,691 lines of names, contact information, dates of birth, addresses, and credit/debit card information; 847,990 lines of names, contact information, Social Security numbers, addresses, and bank account information; and 722,403 lines of additional credit card information.
The Credit Pros had not confirmed the suspected cyberattack at the time this post was made.
