A June 19, 2026 post on dark web monitoring platform Ransomware.live indicates that Optimum First Mortgage, which lends to customers in 15 states online and through offices in California, Arizona, and Idaho, may have suffered a data breach. According to Ransomware.live’s post, threat actor Pear has claimed responsibility for the suspected Optimum First Mortgage data breach, which is estimated to have occurred on June 15 of the same year.
At the time this post was made, the reported cyberattack had not yet been confirmed, and no additional information about the scope or nature was available.
