As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
American Associated Pharmacies (AAP), an independent pharmacy cooperative, identified potential cybersecurity threats on October 23, 2024. Upon detection, the company took action to investigate and control the breach by shutting down its systems and enlisting the help of cybersecurity experts. There is potential that sensitive information, including individuals’ names, Social Security numbers and health insurance details, may have been compromised in the American Associated Pharmacies data breach.
