Vasindas’ Around the Clock Care Settlement Ends Lawsuit Over 2024 Data Breach

Vasindas’ Around the Clock Care, Inc. has agreed to a class action settlement to resolve a lawsuit that alleged the home health agency failed to protect private information from a January 2024 data breach.

The Vasindas’ Around the Clock Care class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on July 16, 2026. Eligible for the settlement are all living United States citizens who were sent notice that their personal information was actually or potentially accessed and/or compromised in the January 2024 data incident.

Court documents state that approximately 21,602 people are included in the settlement class.

The court-approved Vasindas’ Around the Clock Care settlement website can be found at VasindasDataSettlement.com.

Class members who submit a timely, valid claim form can receive up to $2,500 for documented out-of-pocket losses incurred between January 30, 2024 and November 23, 2026 because of the data breach. This benefit covers losses from identity theft or fraud and costs for credit reports, credit monitoring, freezing/unfreezing credit, replacement IDs, postage, and more.

Class members must submit proof, such as bank statements or receipts, to receive a documented-loss payment.

In lieu of a documented-loss payout, class members can file a claim form to receive a $70 cash payment, with no proof required.

Lastly, class members can receive two years of CyEx Medical Shield Complete, which includes medical identity theft insurance and medical data monitoring. Enrollment codes for the service were sent to class members via the postcard settlement notice.

To file an Around the Clock Care settlement claim form online, class members can head to this page and enter the login ID and PIN found on their copy of the settlement notice. Alternatively, class members can download a PDF claim form to print, complete and return by mail to the settlement administrator.

All Vasindas’ Around the Clock Care settlement claim forms must be submitted online or postmarked by November 23, 2026.

The court will determine whether to grant final approval to the Around the Clock Care settlement following a hearing on December 3, 2026. Settlement benefits will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval has been granted and any appeals have been resolved.

The Vasindas’ Around the Clock Care class action lawsuit alleged that the Bakersfield, California-based home health agency failed to implement adequate cybersecurity safeguards to protect private information from a targeted cyberattack in January 2024.

Court documents state that private information that may have been accessed or compromised during the data breach included names, addresses, Social Security numbers, medical information, and health insurance information.
