The Casino Fandango class action settlement received preliminary court approval on June 25, 2025 and covers individuals in the U.S. who were notified that their private information was compromised as a result of the data breach.
The court-approved website for the Casino Fandango settlement can be found at CasinoDataIncident.com.
Casino Fandango settlement class members who file a timely, valid claim form will be able to receive up to $2,000 of reimbursement for unreimbursed losses related to the data breach and one year of three-bureau credit monitoring services.
Data breach-related losses, per the settlement website, may include:
- Professional fees, such as attorneys’ fees, accountants’ fees and fees for credit repair services;
- Losses related to fraud or identity theft;
- Credit monitoring costs that were incurred on or after the date data breach notices were mailed and through the date the claim is submitted;
- Costs associated with freezing or unfreezing credit; and
- Miscellaneous expenses such as fax, copying, notary, postage, and long-distance telephone charges and mileage.
Class members must submit reasonable documentation of their losses along with their claim.
The credit monitoring services offered by the settlement include dark web monitoring, identity recovery services and up to $1,000,000 of identity theft insurance coverage.
To submit a claim form online, class members must visit this page of the settlement website and log in with their last name and the unique notice ID number found in their copy of the settlement notice.
All claim forms must be submitted by October 28, 2025.
Casino Fandango has also agreed to implement increased security measures in its environments and systems to help prevent further damage and protect the private information it possesses.
A hearing is set for November 20, 2025 to determine whether the settlement will receive final court approval. Payments will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval has been granted and any appeals have been resolved.
The Casino Fandango class action lawsuit alleged that the company’s negligence enabled the data breach, which occurred on June 8, 2024 and gave an unauthorized third party access to employees’ sensitive personal information, including names and Social Security numbers.
