The $990,000 Enroll Confidently class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on March 25, 2026. The settlement covers all living United States residents who were sent a notice by Enroll Confidently that their private information may have been impacted in the February 2024 data breach.
The court-approved website for the Enroll Confidently data breach settlement can be found at ECIDataSettlement.com.
Enroll Confidently settlement class members who file a valid, timely claim form can receive up to $3,500 for documented losses stemming from the data breach. Class members must submit proof, such as receipts and correspondence, to receive a documented-loss payment.
Losses covered by this benefit include unreimbursed expenses related to fraud or identity theft; fees to obtain credit reports, credit monitoring and/or freeze/unfreeze credit; and miscellaneous expenses, such as notary and postage.
In lieu of a documented-loss payment, class members may instead file a claim form to receive a cash payment of approximately $100, with no proof required. The final amount of this cash payout may increase or decrease, depending on the total number of valid claims filed.
In addition to monetary relief, all settlement class members may claim one year of three-bureau credit monitoring.
To file an Enroll Confidently settlement claim form online, class members can head to this page and log in using the unique ID and PIN found on their copy of the settlement notice. Alternatively, class members can download a PDF of the claim form to print, fill out and return by mail to the settlement administrator.
All Enroll Confidently settlement claim forms must be submitted online or by mail by July 22, 2026.
The court will determine whether to grant final approval to the Enroll Confidently data breach settlement following a hearing on August 6, 2026. Compensation will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval is granted and any appeals are resolved.
The Enroll Confidently class action lawsuit claimed that the employee benefits enrollment provider failed to implement proper cybersecurity protections to safeguard the sensitive information of current and former employees and clients, leading to a data breach on or around February 13, 2024.
Per court documents, private information potentially exposed in the breach included names, addresses, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, health insurance information and medical information.
