Stoneledge Furniture has agreed to a $750,000 settlement to end a class action lawsuit that claimed the retailer deceptively listed higher “original” or “regular” prices in its Ashley HomeStores locations to make discounts on products appear better than they actually were.

The Ashley HomeStore class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on October 13, 2025 and covers all individuals in California who, between March 9, 2017 and March 27, 2022, bought products from a Stoneledge Ashley HomeStore in the state, where the original or regular price was at least 10 percent greater than the invoice price.
According to court documents, approximately 1,322,659 people are covered by the Ashley settlement.

According to the website, Ashley settlement class members who submit a valid, timely claim form can receive a one-time, pro-rated cash payment. Cash payout amounts will be based on the total number of valid claims that are submitted and how much remains in the settlement fund after the payment of attorneys’ fees, settlement administration, and lead plaintiff service awards. The amount each class member may receive will be calculated by taking the net settlement fund and dividing it by the total number of valid claims, the settlement website explains.
All Ashley HomeStore settlement class members may elect to receive their cash payout via check or electronic payment, and checks must be cashed within 180 days of issuance before expiration.
In addition to cash reimbursement, the settlement site notes that each class member who submits a valid claim form will receive one Ashley HomeStore voucher worth $35 to be used towards the purchase of any item(s) at any Ashley store. All vouchers will expire 180 days after issuance, and each voucher cannot be used on multiple distinct transactions, the site says.
To submit an Ashley settlement claim form online, class members can head to this page and enter the class member ID listed on their copy of the settlement notice. Consumers who believe they may be an Ashley settlement class member but did not receive a notice should contact the settlement administrator to confirm their identity and receive their login information.
Alternatively, class members may download a PDF of the claim form from the Ashley settlement website to print, fill out and return by mail to the address listed near the top of the document.
All Ashley Homestore claim forms must be submitted online or by mail by February 10, 2026.
The court will determine whether to grant final approval to the Ashley HomeStore class action settlement at a hearing on April 8, 2026. Compensation will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval is granted and any appeals are resolved.
The Ashley HomeStore class action lawsuit alleged that store operator Stoneledge Furniture advertised its apparent original and/or regular prices on furniture and home goods at an inflated price in California stores, which led consumers to believe that they were getting a much bigger discount on purchases than they actually were. The suit alleged Stoneledge violated the California False Advertising Law and California Business and Professions Code.
