The court-approved website for the Go Wireless class action settlement can be found at GWClassAction.com.
The deal covers all individuals who worked in Go Wireless’s retail stores located nationwide from May 1, 2014 to July 31, 2019 (the class period), including wireless consultants, assistant store managers, store managers, multi-store managers, district managers, sales directors and other retail employees who received some or all of their pay in commissions.
Go Wireless class members are eligible to receive a pro-rated share of the $13 million settlement fund. To receive a payment, covered individuals must verify their identity through the settlement website by July 10, 2025.
Head to this page to verify your identity. You’ll be asked to provide your unique settlement administrator-assigned ID number (APEX ID) and the last four digits of your Social Security number.
Once your identity has been verified, you will be able to view your estimated settlement payment on the settlement website. Payment amounts will be calculated based on your job position(s), length of employment, and volume and types of sales made during the class period.
“Please note that the estimated settlement payment that you see on the website is higher than the amount you will receive because taxes/withholdings will be deducted,” the site says.
The Go Wireless settlement was granted preliminary court approval on April 3, 2025. Settlement payouts will be distributed to eligible class members if the deal receives final approval at a hearing scheduled for August 12, 2025 and after any appeals are resolved in favor of the settlement.
The initial class action lawsuit was filed in 2017 by a former wireless consultant and store manager at Go Wireless, which, at the time, operated Verizon Wireless-branded retail stores and has since been acquired by Victra. The plaintiff claimed Go Wireless failed to calculate and pay commissions in accordance with the terms of its commission agreements.
