Attorneys are also investigating potential biometric privacy violations from a prominent cell service provider. In terms of ongoing lawsuits, you’ll want to keep reading if you paid for a window seat on a flight but didn’t have a window or bought something on Amazon Prime Video.

As always, we have the latest class action settlements and data breaches down below.

Social Casino Investigation: Funrize, NoLimitCoins and More

An ongoing investigation is looking into online sweepstakes casinos Funrize, NoLimitCoins, FunzCity, Fortune Wheelz and TaoFortune for potential violations of state gambling and consumer protection laws. Attorneys believe the websites, despite being represented as harmless “social casinos,” may be unlicensed and illegal gambling operations in disguise. So, if you lost money on any of these sites, find out how to sign up and join others taking action here.

Windowless “Window” Seats? United, Delta Face Lawsuits

Two proposed class actions are claiming that United and Delta charged premium prices for windowless seats that the airlines misrepresented as having windows. While flyers don’t end up stuck in the dreaded middle seat, the cases allege that the airlines misled consumers during the seat selection process by representing on their respective websites that every wall-adjacent seat has a window. Read up on the lawsuits here.

Amazon Prime Video – Do You Actually Own What You Buy?

A recently filed lawsuit is claiming that Amazon “sells” movies and TV shows on its streaming platform without properly notifying customers that they are only purchasing a license to access the digital content. The complaint explains that, unlike a physical DVD, content sold on Amazon Prime Video may disappear from a user’s digital library at any time, if, for example, Amazon replaces the work with a different version or loses the rights to it. You can find more on the case over on this page.
