The Zumba Fitness class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on September 15, 2026. Eligible for the settlement are all individuals in the United States who purchased the on-demand Zumba Basic 1 training course (ZB1 OD Version) from Zumba.com and whose first and last names appeared on order confirmation pages accessible at ZB1 OD Version order URLs in the possession of one or more third-party advertisers between October 22, 2022 and October 22, 2024.
Court documents state that 4,543 people are included in the settlement class.
The settlement class is broken into three subclasses:
- The “Meta disclosure subclass” consists of 1,576 class members whose first and last names appeared on order confirmation pages accessible at ZB1 OD Version order URLs in the possession of Meta Platforms, Inc.;
- The “Pinterest disclosure subclass” consists of 3,061 class members whose first and last names appeared on order confirmation pages accessible at ZB1 OD Version order URLs in the possession of Pinterest, Inc.; and

The court-authorized Zumba Fitness class action settlement website can be found at ZumbaVPPASettlement.com.
Settlement class members do not need to file a claim form to receive a cash payment of at least $229.33 per applicable share.
Class members who belong to one subclass are entitled to one share, while those who belong to two subclasses are entitled to two shares, and those who belong to three subclasses will receive three shares from the settlement fund.
The final amount of each class member’s cash payment may increase depending on the number of class members who opt out of the settlement, among other factors.
Class members who wish to update the address their payment will be sent to, or who want to receive their payment electronically, can head to this page and enter the login ID and PIN found on their copy of the settlement notice.
The court will determine whether to grant final approval to the Zumba Fitness class action settlement following a hearing on January 21, 2027. Compensation will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval has been granted and any appeals have been resolved.
The Zumba class action lawsuit alleged that the fitness company, in violation of the Video Privacy Protection Act of 1988, utilized tracking pixels embedded into its website that disclosed customers’ personal information that identified them to Meta, MNTN and Pinterest as having requested or obtained specific video materials.
