Dawg, Inc., which operates TheBestIRS, faces a lawsuit from a former field adjuster who claims he was not paid proper minimum or overtime wages.
A lawsuit filed in late-December against Dawg, Inc., which does business as TheBestIRS, and its owner has been transferred to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. The plaintiff who filed the opt-in complaint claims he worked for the defendants as an independent field adjuster from October through November 2016 without being paid rightful minimum or overtime wages. The lawsuit cites alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
