Up to $9.95M Balance of Nature Settlement Ends Class Action Over Allegedly Overstated Supplement Health Benefits

A Balance of Nature settlement of up to $9.95M offers cash refunds to those who purchased supplements with supposedly overstated health benefits.
Evig, LLC has agreed to pay up to $9,950,000 to settle a class action lawsuit that alleged the plant-based dietary supplement manufacturer falsely advertised its Balance of Nature Fruits, Veggies, and Fiber & Spice supplement capsules as conferring certain health benefits.

The Balance of Nature class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on October 27, 2025 and covers all individuals who purchased Balance of Nature Fruit capsules, Balance of Nature Veggie capsules and/or Balance of Nature Fiber & Spice capsules in the United States for personal use and not for resale between March 28, 2019 and October 27, 2025.

According to the website, Balance of Nature settlement class members who submit a valid, timely claim form have two options for reimbursement. Those who submit with their claim form documented proof of purchase can receive a cash payment of $6 per unit purchased per household, for up to five units.
Alternatively, consumers with no proof of purchase can receive a one-time cash payment at the rate of $4 per unit per household, for up to two units.
Per the settlement agreement, Balance of Nature class members may elect to receive their settlement payout via check or electronic payment, and all checks must be cashed within 90 days after issuance before expiration.
To submit a Balance of Nature claim form online, class members can head to this page and complete the required fields with accurate information. Alternatively, class members can download a PDF of the claim form from the settlement website to print, fill out and return by mail to the address of the settlement administrator listed near the top of the document.
All claim forms submitted from the same household will be treated as a single claim for the purpose of meeting the settlement’s proof-of-purchase requirements, the website states.
Consumers who have difficulty filing a claim or who have any other questions about the class action settlement may contact the settlement administrator to receive more information.
All Balance of Nature settlement claim forms must be submitted online or by mail by March 11, 2026.
The court will determine whether to grant final approval to the Balance of Nature class action settlement at a hearing on March 6, 2026. Compensation will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval is granted and any appeals are resolved.
The Balance of Nature class action lawsuit alleged that Evig, the supplement manufacturer, misleadingly and deceptively advertised the products at issue as providing certain health benefits that they reportedly were not capable of providing, and as a result was able to sell the supplements at a premium price.
