According to the official Neiman Marcus settlement website, class members who file a timely, valid claim form may receive up to $2,500 per person in reimbursement for expenses incurred as a result of the incident, provided the losses are supported by reasonable documentation. In addition to a Neiman Marcus settlement payout, class members may file a claim form to receive two years of complimentary credit monitoring services, valued at $108 per year, the settlement agreement says.
The court will decide whether to grant final approval to the terms of the deal at a hearing on October 23, 2025. Settlement benefits will be issued to eligible class members only if the deal receives ultimate court approval and becomes final, the website states.
Court documents relay that the Neiman Marcus data breach involved unauthorized access to the retailer’s account with Snowflake, a third-party cloud storage provider.
According to the data breach lawsuit, the cyberattack exposed individuals’ names, email addresses, dates of birth, gift card information, partial credit card numbers and the last four digits of Social Security numbers.
The litigation over the Snowflake data breach also recently resulted in a $10 million class action settlement involving Advance Auto Parts.
