The Goshen Health settlement received preliminary approval from the court on September 15, 2025 and covers all individuals in the United States who had an active Goshen Health patient portal account any time between January 1, 2020, and December 31, 2023.

Goshen Health settlement class members who submit a valid, timely claim form are eligible to receive a one-time cash payment of $25. According to the settlement agreement, class members can elect to receive their payout via check or electronic payment, and all checks must be cashed within 180 days after issuance before expiration.
In addition to the cash payout, each eligible class member will automatically receive a code to enroll in one free year of Privacy Shield Pro, which provides dark web protection, a virtual private network (VPN), password protection and other online security measures. According to the settlement site, class members can find their Privacy Shield Pro enrollment code listed at the top of their individual class action settlement notice.
To submit a claim form online, class members can head to this page and enter the class member notice ID, also found on their copy of the settlement notice. Consumers who believe they may be a class member but did not receive a notice should contact the settlement administrator to confirm their identity and receive their login details.
Alternatively, class members may download a PDF of the claim form to print, fill out, and return by mail to the address listed near the top of the document.
Goshen Health settlement claim forms must be submitted by November 29, 2025.
The court will determine whether to grant final approval to the Goshen Health settlement at a hearing on December 16, 2025. Compensation will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval is granted and any appeals are resolved.
The Goshen Health class action lawsuit claimed that the provider wrongfully sold patient information to third-party groups after acquiring it through tracking and analytics tools like Meta Pixel, in violation of the Indiana Deceptive Consumer Sales Act.
