According to the website, SAG-AFTRA settlement class members who file a valid, timely claim form can receive up to $5,000 for documented out-of-pocket losses incurred between September 17, 2024 and July 23, 2026 due to the data breach. Class members must submit proof, such as receipts, to receive an out-of-pocket-loss payment.
Class members can also file a claim form to receive a pro-rated cash payment, with no proof required.

The SAG-AFTRA Health Plan class action lawsuit claimed that the health insurer failed to implement reasonable cybersecurity measures to protect the information of Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists members stored on its systems, which allegedly led to a data breach between September 17 and 18, 2024.
Per court documents, private information that may have been exposed during the breach included names, Social Security numbers, health information, claims, health insurance information and health plan identification numbers.
