$850K Raging Waters Settlement Ends Lawsuit Over Allegedly Hidden Processing Fees

Festival Fun Parks, LLC has agreed to an $850,000 settlement to end litigation that alleged the amusement park operator failed to adequately disclose a mandatory processing fee on admission tickets purchased from RagingWaters.com until near the end of the checkout process.

The Raging Waters class action settlement received preliminary court approval on July 6, 2026. Eligible to participate in the settlement are all United States residents who purchased admission tickets from RagingWaters.com between June 1, 2020 and June 22, 2026 and paid a processing fee.

The court-approved website for the Raging Waters class action settlement can be found at RagingWatersSettlement.com.

Raging Waters settlement class members who submit a timely, valid claim form can receive a pro rata cash payment, with no proof required.

The final amount of each class member’s cash payment will be based on the proportion of the total processing fees they paid and the total number of eligible claimants, among other factors.

To submit a Raging Waters settlement claim form online, class members can head to this page and enter the ID and confirmation code found on their copy of the settlement notice. Alternatively, class members can download a PDF claim form to print, complete and return by mail to the settlement administrator.

All Raging Waters settlement claim forms must be submitted online or postmarked by November 24, 2026.

The court will determine whether to grant final approval to the Raging Waters settlement following a hearing on November 9, 2026. Settlement money will be distributed to class members only after final approval has been granted and any appeals have been resolved.

The Raging Waters class action lawsuit alleged that the waterpark deceptively employed drip pricing and failed to disclose a mandatory processing fee added to all online ticket purchases until late in the checkout process, in violation of California’s Unfair Competition Law.
