Festival Fun Parks, LLC has agreed to a $500,000 class action settlement to resolve a lawsuit that alleged the company failed to properly disclose a processing fee for electronic tickets to Connecticut’s Lake Compounce amusement and water park until after the tickets were selected for purchase.

The Festival Fun Parks class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on August 28, 2026. Eligible for the settlement are all individuals who purchased tickets to Lake Compounce from Festival Fun Parks’ website, www.LakeCompounce.com, from October 1, 2023 through June 12, 2025.
The court-approved Festival Fun Parks class action settlement website can be found at LakeCompounceTicketFeeSettlement.com.
Settlement class members who file a timely, valid claim form can receive a pro rata (proportional) cash payment.
The final amount of each class member’s cash payout will be determined based on the total amount of processing fees they paid and the total number of valid claims filed, among other factors.
To submit a Festival Fun Parks settlement claim form online, class members can head to this page and enter the unique ID and PIN found on their copy of the settlement notice. Alternatively, class members can download a PDF claim form to print, complete and return by mail to the settlement administrator.
All Festival Fun Parks settlement claim forms must be submitted online or postmarked by November 24, 2026.
Class members who wish to update their address after submitting a claim form can head to this page and log in using their unique ID and PIN.
The court will determine whether to grant final approval to the Festival Fun Parks class action settlement following a hearing on December 8, 2026. Compensation will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval has been granted and any appeals have been resolved.
The Festival Fun Parks class action lawsuit alleged that the amusement park operator failed to properly disclose a processing fee added to Lake Compounce electronic ticket purchases until after tickets were selected for purchase, in violation of the Connecticut Ticketing Statute.
