The Ingram Micro Americas class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on February 12, 2026 and covers all living United States residents who were sent notice from the company indicating that their private information was impacted in the July 2025 data breach.
Court documents estimate that approximately 42,000 individuals are covered by the Ingram Micro settlement.
The court-approved website for the Ingram Micro Americas data breach settlement can be found at IngramMicroSettlement.com.
According to the website, all Ingram Micro settlement class members who submit a timely, valid claim form have multiple options for reimbursement.
Class members who file with their claim form proof of documented losses incurred between July 3, 2025 and May 19, 2026 are eligible to receive a one-time cash payment of up to $1,500 in reimbursement. The settlement agreement states that class members must submit third-party documentation, such as receipts or invoices, to receive compensation for losses related to identity theft, fraud, obtaining credit reports, credit monitoring services, freezing credit, costs to replace IDs and miscellaneous expenses like postage.
Furthermore, the agreement notes that class members may not receive compensation for expenses that have already been reimbursed by another source, including through the identity protection and credit monitoring services offered by Ingram Micro as part of the data breach notification letter.
In lieu of a documented-loss payment, class members may alternatively file a claim to receive a one-time, pro-rated cash payment, which court documents estimate will be approximately $50 per class member, with no proof required. The agreement explains that each payment will be a portion of the $90,000 cash fund set aside solely for this purpose and may be subject to a pro rata (equal share) increase or decrease.
Class members may receive their settlement payouts via check or electronic payment, and the agreement adds that all checks must be cashed within 180 days of issuance before expiration.
To file an Ingram Micro data breach claim form online, class members can head to this page and log in using the unique ID and PIN found on their received copy of the settlement notice. Alternatively, class members may download a PDF of the claim form from the site to print, fill out and return by mail to the address of the settlement administrator listed on the second page of the document.
All Ingram Micro settlement claim forms must be submitted online or by mail by May 19, 2026.
In addition to any monetary settlement benefits, all class members are also eligible to enroll in two free years of CyEx Financial Shield Complete, which includes one-bureau credit monitoring and financial fraud insurance. According to the agreement, class members do not need to file a claim form to receive this benefit, but will need to enroll in the service by heading to this page of the settlement site and entering the unique enrollment code also found on their copy of the settlement notice.
The settlement site adds that enrollment codes may be activated only after the Ingram Micro Americas settlement is granted final approval from the court, which will be determined following a hearing scheduled for June 3, 2026. Compensation will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval has been granted and any appeals have been resolved.
The Ingram Micro Americas class action lawsuit argued that the information technology company failed to implement proper cybersecurity measures to protect the sensitive information of its current, former and prospective employees, which led to a targeted cyberattack discovered by the company on or around July 3, 2025. Per court documents, the private information that may have been compromised as a result of the data breach includes names and Social Security numbers.
