$2.5M FitOn Settlement Resolves Class Action Lawsuit Over Alleged Subscriber Data Sharing

A $2.5M FitOn settlement offers cash to subscribers whose data may have been shared with third parties without consent.
FitOn Inc. has agreed to an up to $2,500,000 settlement to end a class action lawsuit that alleged the digital wellness platform surreptitiously shared subscribers’ personal information and video viewing histories with third parties without consent, in violation of the federal Video Privacy Protection Act (VPPA).

The $2.5 million FitOn class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on May 28, 2026. The deal covers all individuals in the United States who held an account with a FitOn video platform and accessed at least one video between October 22, 2022 and May 29, 2026.
The court-approved website for the FitOn VPPA class action settlement can be found at FitOnVPPASettlement.com.
FitOn settlement class members who file a valid, timely claim form can receive up to $10 from the deal. Payouts from the class action settlement may be reduced on a pro rata basis, depending on the total number of valid claims filed.
To file a FitOn settlement claim form online, class members can head to this page and enter the login ID and PIN listed on their copy of the settlement notice. Alternatively, class members can download a PDF of the claim form to print, fill out, and return by mail to the settlement administrator.
All FitOn settlement claim forms must be submitted online or by mail by August 31, 2026.
The court will determine whether to grant final approval to the FitOn settlement following a hearing on October 6, 2026. Compensation will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval is granted and any appeals are resolved.
The FitOn class action lawsuit alleged that the digital fitness platform failed to obtain consent before disclosing accountholders’ personally identifiable information and video viewing history to third parties, including Meta, in violation of the federal VPPA.
