An $18.4M+ settlement ends a class action lawsuit against Aspen Dental over allegations that it illegally tracks patient data on its website.
A more than $18.4 million settlement will resolve a class action lawsuit against Aspen Dental Management over its allegedly illegal use of data-tracking tools on its website.

The Aspen Dental class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on June 17, 2025 and covers anyone who made an appointment on AspenDental.com either between February 20, 2022 and June 1, 2023 (Group 1) or between June 2, 2023 and January 1, 2025 (Group 2).
The court-approved website for the Aspen Dental settlement can be found at AspenDentalPixelSettlement.com.
Aspen Dental settlement class members from Group 1 who submit a timely, valid claim form may receive a pro-rata, or equal-share, portion of the $2,796,169.50 Group 1 settlement fund after the payment of legal fees and lead plaintiff awards.
Group 2 class members who submit a timely, valid claim form may receive a $15 cash payment. This payment may be decreased on a pro-rata basis depending on the number of valid claims filed.
To submit a claim online, class members can visit this page on the settlement website and log in with the unique notice ID and PIN provided in their copy of the settlement notice.
Alternatively, a PDF claim form is available to print, fill out and mail back to the address listed on the first page of the form.
All claims must be submitted or postmarked by September 15, 2025.
A hearing is set for October 20, 2025 to determine whether the settlement will receive final court approval. Payments will begin to be distributed to claimants only after final approval has been granted and any appeals have been resolved.
The Aspen Dental Management class action lawsuit claimed that the company used data tracking technology, including the Meta pixel, to illegally collect and share patient information with unrelated third parties such as Google and Meta.
