The Oregon Community Credit Union class action settlement received preliminary court approval on September 23, 2025 and covers anyone in the United States who, between October 8, 2020 and April 4, 2025, received a call from the credit union that used an artificial or prerecorded voice at a cell phone number not assigned to an OCCU member or accountholder.
The court-approved website for the Oregon Community Credit Union settlement can be found at ArthurOCTCPASettlement.com.
According to the website, OCCU settlement class members who submit a timely, valid claim form will be eligible to receive a pro-rated share of the $1.95 million settlement fund, after deductions are made for payment of legal and administrative expenses and lead plaintiff awards.
Per the site, it is estimated that class members may receive an OCCU settlement payment of between $4,000 and $9,000 per person, though final payout amounts will depend on the total number of valid claims that are filed.
All claim forms must be submitted online or by mail by December 8, 2025.
To submit a claim form online, class members can visit this page of the settlement website and log in using a unique class member ID, which is typically found in the settlement notice issued about the deal.
Alternatively, consumers can complete and return the claim form attached to the postcard notice they may have received, or contact the settlement administrator to request a paper copy.
A hearing is scheduled for January 14, 2026 to determine whether the settlement will receive final approval from the court. The website says that, should the deal be ultimately approved, OCCU settlement payments will be issued to eligible class members within 30 days following the date the deal becomes final. This process may be prolonged by appeals, which must be resolved before settlement payouts are distributed.
The Oregon Community Credit Union class action lawsuit claimed that OCCU breached the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, a federal law that aims to protect consumers from receiving unwanted robocalls.
