Nutricost settlement class members who submit a timely, valid claim form can receive a cash payout.
More specifically, each class member who submits a claim form with a valid ID and PIN will be entitled to one “award unit” per supplement they purchased, as reflected in Nutricost’s sales records. Those filing a claim without an ID and PIN will be entitled to one “award unit.” The monetary value of each “award unit” will not exceed $19.95.
To submit a Nutricost settlement claim form online, class members can head to this page and enter the claim ID and PIN found on their copy of the settlement notice. Alternatively, class members can download a PDF claim form to print, fill out, and return by mail to the settlement administrator.
All Nutricost magnesium claim forms must be submitted online or postmarked by August 7, 2026.
The court will determine whether to grant the Nutricost magnesium supplement settlement final approval following a hearing on October 15, 2026. Compensation will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval has been granted and any appeals have been resolved.
The Nutricost class action lawsuit claimed that the health supplement retailer sold magnesium supplements that were misleadingly labeled as containing 420 milligrams of magnesium glycinate per two-capsule serving when they actually contained far less than that amount, in violation of New York General Business Law and other state-specific consumer protection statutes.
