The Arden Claims Service class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on October 21, 2025 and covers all United States residents who received a notice from Arden that their private information may have been impacted by the data breach discovered on or about October 17, 2023.
Per court documents, approximately 143,341 people are covered by the Arden Claims Service settlement.
The court-approved website for the Arden data breach settlement can be found at https://ArdenClaimsServiceDataSettlement.com/.
According to the website, Arden settlement class members who submit a valid, timely claim form have multiple options for reimbursement. Those who submit with their claim form documented proof of out-of-pocket losses are eligible to receive a one-time cash payment of $5,000, which is referred to as “Cash Payment A.” The settlement site explains that reimbursable losses must have been incurred as a result of the data breach, and include costs related to bank fees, replacing identification, credit report fees and losses due to identity fraud.
In lieu of a documented-loss payment, class members may instead file a claim form to receive a one-time cash payout estimated to be $125, referred to as “Cash Payment B” in court documents, the settlement website says.
Per the settlement agreement, Arden class members may elect to receive their payout via check or electronic payment, and all checks must be cashed within 180 days after issuance before expiration.
In addition to either monetary reimbursement option, all Arden settlement class members are eligible to enroll in three free years of three-bureau credit monitoring, which provides dark web scanning, public records monitoring, medical monitoring, identity theft insurance and access to fraud resolution agents.
As part of the settlement, Arden Claims Service has also agreed to certain injunctive business practice changes, including the implementation of improved security measures to prevent future data breaches.
To submit an Arden Claims Service settlement claim form online, class members can head to this page and enter the class member ID and PIN found on their copy of the settlement notice. Consumers who believe they may be a settlement class member but did not receive a notice should contact the settlement administrator to confirm their identity and receive their login details.
Alternatively, class members may download a PDF of the claim form from the settlement site to print, fill out and return by mail to the address listed on the second page of the document.
All Arden data breach settlement claim forms must be submitted online or by mail by February 3, 2026.
The court will determine whether to grant final approval to the Arden Claims Service class action settlement at a hearing on February 18, 2026. Compensation will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval is granted and any appeals are resolved.
The Arden Claims Service class action lawsuit claimed that the class action settlement claims administrator failed to implement proper security measures to safeguard sensitive consumer information, which led to a targeted cyberattack discovered by the company in October 2023. Per court documents, the private consumer information allegedly impacted by the data breach included, but was not limited to, names, dates of birth, medical history, Social Security Numbers, ID numbers and financial account information.
