The plaintiff in the case says she was employed by the defendants as an administrative assistant and worked more than 60 hours per week for a fixed salary. According to the suit, she performed non-exempt duties and should have been eligible under the Fair Labor Standards Act for overtime, but instead was allegedly denied her rightful time-and-a-half compensation for the hours she worked above 40 each week.
