The court-authorized website for the Christ Hospital class action settlement can be found at TCHSettlement.com.
The deal covers all current or former patients of the Christ Hospital or any of its affiliates who used the health network’s patient portal or mobile app or submitted a health risk assessment, appointment request form or nurse navigator request form between December 30, 2018 and January 13, 2023.
According to the official Christ Hospital settlement website, eligible class members who submit a timely, valid claim form are entitled to receive an estimated $37.50 cash payment and a one-year subscription to Privacy Shield Pro, a medical identity theft and medical fraud monitoring service.
Class members have until October 23, 2025 to file a Christ Hospital settlement claim form.
Claim forms can be submitted online on this page. Alternatively, consumers can download a PDF claim form or call 833-890-6037 to request a paper copy to return by mail. Claim form submission requires a unique class member ID, which is typically found on the personalized settlement notice issued about the deal.
As part of the class action settlement, the Christ Hospital will initially pay at least $4.5 million, the website says. Per the site, if the settlement fund is insufficient to afford each class member a $37.50 payout after deductions for administrative expenses, service awards and attorneys’ fees, the company will supplement the fund with an additional payment of up to $2.5 million, for a maximum of $7 million.
If the full $7 million fund is insufficient to pay each consumer at least $37.50, individual payout amounts will be reduced on a pro rata basis, the website adds.
The settlement agreement, which resolves the consolidated lawsuit against the Christ Hospital, was preliminarily approved by the court in late June 2025. The parties now await a hearing on October 29, 2025, at which time the court will determine whether to grant final approval to the terms of the deal.
Class action settlement benefits are typically issued to eligible class members only if the deal receives ultimate court approval, and after any appeals are resolved.
In addition, should the deal be ultimately approved, the Christ Hospital has agreed not to disclose to Facebook personally identifiable medical information collected through the health network’s website and patient portal, including any forms or assessments, for two years following the date of approval, the website shares.
