The Mana Products class action settlement received preliminary court approval on July 17, 2025 and covers anyone in the U.S. whose personal information was compromised in the Mana data breach, which began on or around September 2, 2023, including anyone who received notice of the breach from the company.
The court-approved website for the Mana settlement can be found at ManaProductsSettlement.com.
Mana Products settlement class members who submit a timely, valid claim form will be able to receive credit monitoring services and reimbursement for expenses and lost time or, alternatively, a flat cash payment of $25.
The credit monitoring services offered through the Mana Products settlement, the website states, include two years of three-bureau credit monitoring and $1,000,000 of identity theft protection insurance.
Reimbursement is available to class members for out-of-pocket expenses, extraordinary expenses and lost time. Out-of-pocket expenses, which the Mana Products settlement will reimburse for up to $400, are defined as expenses incurred due to the data breach, such as:
- Fees for credit reports, credit monitoring or credit repair;
- Fees for freezing or unfreezing credit;
- Attorney or accountant fees; and
- Other miscellaneous expenses, such as postage, copying, or notary fees.
Extraordinary expenses, the Mana Products settlement website says, can be claimed for up to $4,000 in reimbursement and include any data breach-related expenses that occurred after September 2, 2023. Per the class action settlement website, extraordinary expenses are not included in the lost time or out-of-pocket benefits categories, for which class members have already attempted to acquire refunds or reimbursements and which class members tried their best to avoid in the first place.
Both out-of-pocket and extraordinary expense claims must be accompanied by valid documentation, the settlement website states.
The Mana Products class action settlement will also reimburse eligible class members for up to four hours of time spent dealing with problems caused by the data breach, at a rate of $20 per hour.
The three forms of reimbursement are mutually exclusive with the $25 cash payout, and class members cannot claim any form of reimbursement if they also claim the $25, court documents relay.
To file a class action settlement claim form online, class members can visit this page and log in with the unique notice ID and PIN found in their copy of the settlement notice.
Alternatively, a PDF of the claim form is available to print, fill out and mail back to the address listed on the final page of the document.
All claim forms must be submitted online or postmarked by November 13, 2025.
A hearing is set for December 11, 2025 to determine whether the settlement will receive final approval from the court. Settlement benefits will begin to be distributed to Mana Products class members only after final approval is granted and any appeals are resolved.
The Mana Products class action lawsuit claimed that a cyberattack on September 2, 2023 allowed unauthorized parties to access the beauty products company’s customers’ personal information, including names and Social Security Numbers.
