A former employee of Magnolia Hi-Fi, LLC has filed suit against the company claiming he is owed approximately $5,000.00 in unpaid commissions and was paid less than the minimum wage during his employment. The man allegedly worked Best Buy’s Magnolia department as an audio system sales representative between May 2015 and March 2017 and, according to the suit, “sold numerous products for which [he] is still owed commission.”
The complaint further claims the defendant failed to post notices informing employees of their minimum and overtime wage rights.
The suit was recently removed to Florida federal court from circuit court.
