The companies and individual who operate Club Rouge, Daddy Rabbits, Candy Bar, Paper Moon, and Pure Pleasure are facing a proposed class action that claims the adult clubs failed to pay their employees in accordance with state and federal law. The plaintiff says she and other entertainers worked more than 40 hours per week without receiving time-and-a-half premium wages. On top of that, the suit alleges, the defendants made unlawful deductions from employees’ pay, including “house fees” and other fines, and withheld portions of their tips.
